ASOS UPDATES

ASOS SUPPORTS

There’s more to us than just fashion. And in this weird, worrying and, TBH, pretty scary time, we want to be doing as much as we can to show our massive appreciation for the vital charities, key workers and communities taking on heroic tasks right now – as well as making sure you’re doing OK... isolating but not lonely.

Read on for info on how we're doing our part, plus the exclusive charity T-shirts you can shop now.

ASOS Supports Frontline Heroes

ASOS Supports is our way of showing initiatives we’ve been working on, which we know you’re going to want to get onboard with, too. From giving supplies to the hardworking staff at ASOS’ local UK hospitals – like hand creams and comfy hoodies and T-shirts to change into at the end of a shift – to offering NHS staff a 20% discount through its Blue Light Card scheme, so they can find some moments of much-needed escapism.

We’re also proud to announce our unisex limited-edition charity T-shirts, celebrating the amazing efforts of frontline workers, dropping each week for the next four weeks. The first ‘Heroes’ slogan means you can show how much you respect the work being done in hospitals and among the community. Tees and hoodies are £20 and £30 respectively and we’ll match 100% of profits from every sale to donate to our local-to-ASOS UK hospitals, Barnsley Hospital Charity and UCLH in London.

In addition, we've released limited-edition Choose Love T-shirts, with ‘Choose Our Carers’ and ‘Choose Our NHS’ slogans. The profits from each £20 T-shirt will go to The Care Workers Charity and NHS Charities Together – and we’ll be matching profits with our own donation, too.

ASOS Supports Charity

Giving back has always been super-important for us. We want to be here for all moments in our customers’ lives, including the difficult ones. We have our own charity, the ASOS Foundation, supporting children and young adults in the UK and overseas, as well as our ongoing work with the Prince’s Trust and Centrepoint. And right now, our focus is on supporting people in the mammoth fight against the coronavirus outbreak, so we’re showcasing great charity work on our ASOS social channels. These are just some of the things we’re doing to show our support – but it won’t end there.

ASOS Supports Community

We’re also always here for you, our loyal, talented, inspirational ASOSers. So, we’re been working with anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label to encourage positivity, wellbeing and a feeling of emotional togetherness, even if we can’t physically be with the ones we love RN. United, we can get through this.

The word ‘unprecedented’ is used so much for this situation that it’s kind of lost meaning. We’re all just trying to get used to this new normal as best we can, giving love and care where and when possible. We’ll hopefully never live through something like this again, but while we are, let’s act together to make a difference.
