SNEAKER UPDATE: REEBOK CLASSIC

By Steven Potter, 5 September 2019

With futuristic, overblown sneakers dominating the drop world ATM, you’d be forgiven for thinking that classic trainers have fallen out of favour. However, we can confirm this definitely isn’t the case: iconic, wear-with-everything kicks are still high on the sartorial agenda for AW19. And where better to start than with a Reebok Classics update? Take a peek at two of their must-have kicks below.

Reebok Classic Leather

For keen sneakerheads (or anyone who grew up in the 90s), the Classic Leather style is probably the first thing that springs to mind when someone mentions Reebok. Originally released as a running shoe in 1983, the kicks quickly found themselves sneaking into casual looks because of their streamlined shape and easy-to-wear colourways. Fast-forward to 2019 and it's one of the most instantly-recognisable trainers in the game that's still as popular (if not more so) than they were back in the 80s.

Reebok Club C

Another member of the Reebok Classics family – the Club C (which stands for Champion) – originally began life on the tennis court, but the model quickly sneaked off the court and into everyday line-ups. They've since been promoted to sneakerhead must-cop with an impressive roster of collabs to help, Palace Skateboards and Kendrick Lamar included. In terms of trainers that can stand up against ever-changing trends, the Club C (and the Classic Leather) are right at the top. Big claim, we know.
