NEW DROPS: FILA, THE NORTH FACE & MORE
By Steven Potter, 3 September 2019
Summer may be over, but with a new season comes a wealth of new drops to explore. Silver linings, right? This month there’s new streetwear in the form of Corella, exclusive graphic tees from Fila and a colour-drenched capsule from outdoor favourites The North Face. Keep scrolling for the deets.
Of all the brands to shift status from 90s sportswear staple to certified streetwear cop, Fila is pretty much leading the way. Summer may be out, but bold colours and sharp graphics certainly aren’t. So feast your eyes on the above collection of vibrant tees, complete with that all-important logo print. Don’t sleep on these, each style is exclusive to ASOS – all the better for bragging rights.
The North Face
The North Face, once a staple of only the very hardiest of outdoor explorers, has now become a favourite of hypebeasts and logoheads alike. Ideal, then, that this new drop includes vibrant tees with double the logo for double the flex. Also, with autumn around the corner, the brand’s Glacier fleece gets a colour-pop update. Ideal for conquering all those mountain walks you’ve got planned... or, more likely, a toasty extra layer for when you’re waiting for the bus.
CRL by Corella
A relatively ‘new kid on the block’ (compared to the above brands at least), Corella launched in 2018 in New York before skipping across the pond to East London. Taking elements from both street and sportswear, the brand serves up oversized graphic treatments with bold (but wearable) neon details alongside simpler, logo-driven designs. If hype culture is all about wearing garms no one’s seen before, it's wise to jump on CRL by Corella, quick.
