It’s time for another look at the very best drops of the week, presented in a handy bite-sized format – kinda like a treat-sized chocolate bar with a tasty filling full of top styling tips. This week, Lulu Wentworth, our Senior Stylist, talks you through options for bold blazers, bright shirts and nu-retro kicks from throwback favourites Champion. Keep scrollin’ for the details and the full vid.

Step away from your trusty grey and navy hues with this pastel blue blazer. Lulu says: 'It’s fun for summer weddings or other stylish occasions. Easily wearable, you could pair it with chinos and, if the weather’s nice enough, some sandals or loafers.' File this under summer-wedding wins for sure.

Knitwear probably isn’t the first thing that springs to mind when you’re updating your spring/summer look but check out this lightweight sweater. Ideal for those tricky transitional climes. Bold and lightweight, it will give your look a nice throwback edge. After all, what’s more summery than tie-dye?

Keeping the throwback levels high, this floral short-sleeved polo brings the 70s realness. A top tip from Lulu: 'Just team it with your favourite jeans if it’s a bit cooler and swap them out for some shorts when the sun does make an appearance.'

'We’re still getting some really lovely, fun shirts dropping on ASOS ready for summer,' says Lulu. 'This one makes the most of a three-way, colour-block design, perfect for festival season. Or, if you’re feeling really bold, pair it with a suit for maximum impact.' Alternatively, just team with your favourite shorts for a brighter update to your spring/summer look.

Lulu on the newest chunky trainer drop: 'Lastly, we’ve got a new trainer drop from throwback favourites, Fila. Think of them as an updated dad-style trainer with pops of colour thrown in. To be honest, you can literally wear these with anything, but for a big power move, rock them with a suit. Low-key suiting is big news for SS19.'
