Easier than a fundamental lifestyle upgrade, cheaper than a gym subscription – freshening up your sartorial colour palette is a strong choice for a realistic resolution this January. With that in mind, we’ve pulled together a midwinter-ready outfit that draws on some of the new year’s most hyped hues and colour combos to help you stay ahead of the 2019 curve.

This getup delivers an Arizona accented, desert-sunset-scented take on the tonal trend – with rich burgundies, dusty tans and glowing mustard yellows keeping things comfortably complementary while serving up envelope-nudging hues (thank the likes of MSGM, Marni and McQueen for putting South-Western shades on the AW18-into-SS19 agenda).
A brown-and-burgundy fleece jacket kicks things off cosily and taps into the menswear world’s current outdoorsy obsession. A printed shirt breaks up the tonality with some bold patterns but keeps the overall palette on point.
