The Christmas period is almost done for another year and you’re probably well and truly over cuisine of the roasted kind. To help you ease into 2019, there’s a fresh new drop of ASOS 4505 activewear available. So whether you've let the gym routine slip during the festive period (we’re looking at you, Christmas movies) or are just looking to try something new to kick-start your new year, here are two fresh workout looks to inspire you, put through their paces by Sam Worth, a PE teacher from London.

So, let’s talk tech. That long-sleeve ASOS 4505 top features a trippy two-tone finish. It looks black at first but when stretched (or flexed) a reddy-orange colour is revealed, much to the awe of your fellow gym-goers. It’s cut super-tight for extra support and those angled seams in the sleeves keep your arm movements restriction-free. Working up a sweat? Literally, don’t sweat it. The fabric shifts perspiration away from the skin keeping you fresh and comfortable for longer. The matching shorts make use of a built-in lining for comfort and there are stash pockets for both your phone and keys. You gotta look after the essentials.

Layers are important after exercise so, to keep you toasty pre and post-gym, cop this jersey jacket with a colour-blocked, quilted panel for extra warmth. It’s complete with zipped pockets so there's no spilling your bits and bobs onto the running machine for you. For gliding through your new routine, those colour-blocked gym leggings not only brighten things up but are constructed using a heat-sealing technique, too. This reduces friction for extra comfort while compression panels give you a supportive, next-to-skin fit. Thinking of your own inspirational Rocky montage? Who inspires you? 
I look at athletes like Lebron James, someone who is in his 16th NBA season but looking stronger and fitter than ever. In terms of diet, I'm getting my food inspo from Joe Wicks and The Hairy Bikers at the moment.
