FLAT LAY
YOUR BONFIRE NIGHT OUTFIT
By Lakeisha Goedluck, 2 November 2018
It’s been a fair few centuries since Guy Fawkes and co. attempted to overthrow King James I and his parliament, but the annual firework celebrations to mark the anniversary of the failed gunpowder plot are still going strong. So, for this 5 November, we've pulled together an outfit to keep you warm and dry in style when you head out for a night of bonfire fun.

Standing out in the cold for a few hours is going to call for some serious layering, so start off your look with a basic long-sleeved T-shirt. Next, pop a hoodie over your head – go for one with a front pocket like this Parlez number to nestle your hands in (when you’re not using them to play about with a sparkler, of course.) Lastly, a fleecy puffer jacket should keep your top half nicely insulated.
Down low, go for a pair of dark-wash slim-fit jeans. Roll up your cuffs and style them with some hiking boots – extra points if you manage to match your laces to the patterning on your jacket. And, finally, pop on a beanie and you're good to go.
