ASOS INSIDERS WEAR HALF-ZIP TOPS

Since gaining popularity last autumn/winter, the half-zip top is still having its moment in the sartorial spotlight. A streetwear and skatewear staple, it's ideal for layering up with this season. To figure out how to style it this AW18, here’s some inspiration from our ASOS Insiders Nawal and Jono.

Not one to slack when it comes to jumping on new-season trends early, ASOS Nawal goes for an emergency-orange half-zip fleece from The North Face. To up the in-your-face vibe, he pairs it with a monochrome striped tee which he then balances out by going for all black on his bottom half. Refined darted trousers and smart lace-up shoes finish his ensemble.

ASOS Jono is also going for a ‘go bold or go home’ aesthetic. Donning a graphic-print ASOS DESIGN half-zip top, he styles his outfit in a similar way to Nawal but with a skater-inspired twist. Accessorising with a road-ready cross-body bag, he rocks a chain on his black trews and pops on a pair of super-vibrant Nike Dunks. Bright idea or what?
