Ah, the revere-collar shirt. Few things offer effortless style like a printed, short-sleeved shirt and if you thought you’d got all you could out of yours this year, think again. Just like the clued-up lads in London, this guy is making the most of his while temperatures are still pretty mild. And what a shirt. Made by Italian maestros Gucci, this black style, with its roaring panther print and bold colour palette, has nice 80s vibes that are kept in check with some simple trousers and understated sunglasses. Layer yours over a long-sleeved tee to wear it all the way through winter.

Ready to roll
With Italian street style known to err on the slicker side of things, the roll-neck has typically been utilised by the suit-wearing set as a suave alternative to a shirt. So, props to this off-duty model for demonstrating how to wear it if your style is more 90s skater than 60s tailoring. Confidently uncomplicated, his style has a more casual, looser-fitting collar than most roll-necks which stops it feeling overly slick when worn with a pair of light-wash vintage-style jeans. He adds a contrasting Kappa tape belt for good measure.

Going green
See how the illustrations on this shirt cleverly imitate camo print? Aesthetically pleasing to say the least. A camo piece is always a strong sartorial choice, but this guy’s clever riff goes beyond your average military adopter. To be fair, he’s a seasoned street-styler, so naturally this dope shirt is expertly layered over a crisp tee and swaggy textured trousers. He finesses his look with a bucket hat to tap into SS19’s key accessories trend and works in some contrasting colour with a red Fjällräven cross-body bag. A+.

Cream of the crop
In a fashion landscape full of all-black wearing streetwear fans, here we have Milan’s pale knight making the case for head-to-toe cream for autumn/winter. Less intense than going for all-out ice, this softer shade is nicely broken up with black detailing – an interesting graphic print and a black leather belt. Follow this style connoisseur's lead by adding a key chain and clear plastic bag for extra edge.

Animal prince
It was Milanese menswear designers MSGM and Palm Angels who put zany sportswear on the agenda for SS19, and here’s one of their own showing how to make it wearable. Part gas-pumper, part 70s rocker, this guy makes wearing wraparound shades, neon green and leopard print trews look casual. It’s a masterclass in subtly working multiple trends into your everyday look. As ever, the black base ties things together here. A plain tee helps to break up his wavy shirt, while the monochrome animal print coordinates his bottom half. Bravo.
