YOUR DAY FESTIVAL OUTFIT

What a summer it’s been, eh? Temperature-wise, the weather’s hit the high 20s/low 30s all season long – and, let’s not forget, it very nearly came home. Well, the good news is that we’ve still technically got one glorious month to go, and if you’re lucky enough to be heading to a day festival in August then here’s an ensemble that’ll see you through to the early hours.

Nothing says ‘swaying to music in the sunshine with a tinny in hand’ quite like a bucket hat. So, go for one with a funky multicoloured print like this ASOS x glaad& hat – after all, a festival is the prime opportunity to dress as in-your-face as you want. Use your hat to set the tone for the rest of your outfit and don a black graphic-print T-shirt and out-there sequin shorts (trust us on this one). Round off your whacky ensemble with a red and blue cross-body bag (again, to reference that hat of yours), a pair of monochrome Converse All Star trainers and don't forget those all-important old-school-inspired shades. Cut shapes sensibly, kids!
