HOW WE DO: SPRING STYLE
By Lakeisha Goedluck, 12 April 2018
OK, so the weather’s still hit-and-miss, but spring has legitimately sprung. As the sun’s set to be out next week, the guys at ASOS HQ have decided to dress accordingly – from slick sportswear separates to floral-print shirts. So, here’s what they’ve decided to don to welcome in the new (hopefully warmer) season.

Lately, the 70s has received a lot of love. From slick corduroy cuts to casual striped shirts, the decade has a lot to offer when it comes to diverse style tropes. A big look at the moment is retro sportswear – think colour-block track jackets and tapered joggers.

Another decade that continues to serve as a solid source of inspiration is the 90s. Whether you’re into the hip-hop-lead aesthetic from the era or prefer the preppy approach, there are several style tips from the period to take on board.

When spring rocks around, the floral-print garms duly resurface. Ranging from subdued paisley picks to standout Hawaiian-style pieces, there are botanical-themed threads to suit every sartorial taste.

To make the patterning on your flower-adorned item more prominent, stick to all black when it comes to the rest of your ’fit. Choosing a short-sleeved floral shirt as the focal point of his ensemble, our Junior Fashion Editor Ben wears a black tee, black adidas joggers and classic slip-on Vans trainers in the same hue to make sure that his shirt stands out.
