NEW AW17 TREND: SCANDI SKATE
By Sam Higgins, 10 August 2017
The end of summer doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. Although we say goodbye to Sunday BBQs and pack away the shorts for another year, we welcome back the opportunity to curate some stylish, layered 'fits. Look to our new Scandi skate trend to get your new-season wardrobe off to a solid start.

Cord, borg and knitwear all make a return to your cold-weather arsenal, while key pieces include polo shirts, overhead jackets and baggy trews.

We weren’t short on catwalk inspiration during the AW17 shows with everyone from Calvin Klein to AMI clashing textures and giving retro cuts a smart, contemporary edge.

However, it was most notable at Palm Angel’s Milan showcase, which channelled the modern LA skater kid via striped rugby shirts, and Marni, where it was all about striped knits, drop-shoulder fluffy jackets and trousers that kiss the floor.
