Heading to a festival involving sun, sand and hot-weather headliners? Well, here’s what to wear once you hit the beach...
YOUR BEACH FESTIVAL OUTFIT
By Kasia Hastings, 11 July 2017
Summer festivals no longer just mean mud. Whether you pick a party on the Croatian coast, or five days of sunshine and sound waves further afield, there’s now a surplus of seaside music gatherings giving Glastonbury a run for its money.
With wellies out of the picture, the first thing to work into your beach festival wardrobe is some waterproof footwear. These white Lacoste sliders are a fresh take on your standard black pair that will go with everything and take up minimal room in your suitcase. Wear them barefoot, or with navy space-dye socks to up the ante.
Next up, go for a pair of plain trunks with cool detailing that will pass as shorts come sunset and a sleeveless T-shirt for extra ventilation. A short-sleeved checkerboard shirt can be put on when you want to smarten things up a little, while a cross-body bag will inject street vibes into your 'fit and store all your essentials.
Finally, pair some oval shades with a black embroidered cap and you're good to go.
