The Weeknd took a deserved break from his busy tour life this week to meet up with girlfriend Selena Gomez and simultaneously whet our sartorial appetite for his next tour merch drop.

As he’s now two-thirds of the way through a mammoth 62-date schedule, you can understand Abel’s desire to spend some precious time with new love Selena. But, out in New York's West Village, the R&B schmoozer still managed to smash out a seasonal showcase of fresh XO gear.

Tackling any interseasonal-dressing woes with ease, The Weeknd started by layering a shiny green MA1 bomber – fresh off his merch stand – over a boxy, washed-black tee. Aside from a matching green cap, precariously perched over his short locks, Abel stayed true to his enigmatic persona, keeping things minimal and monochrome below the belt via slim black trousers and suede Puma kicks.
