While we’re struggling to keep anything on at all in this heatwave, David Beckham’s out here taking transatlantic flights in knitwear and not even breaking a sweat.

Arriving in New York last week, Becks gave us a classic display of his signature style – albeit not via the most seasonal of getups. A white tee tucked under a beige jumper may seem a bit too heavy duty for travelling, but DB rolled the sleeves on his lightweight knit to keep things fresh.
A pair of slim, faded Saint Laurent jeans complemented the neutral hue up top, which itself was nicely coordinated with a leather backpack, brown carry-on and suede Chelsea boots. Then, having grown his locks out in a style reminiscent of his 2003 man bun era, the former footballer slicked his hair back and threw on some shades to give his outfit a sharp finish.
