MFW MEN'S SS18 STREET STYLE
By Matt Glazebrook, 21 June 2017
While the fashion world’s great and good were getting an exclusive look at Prada and Versace’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection in Milan this weekend, its sharpest and steeziest were flexing on the streets outside the shows. Here’s who we spotted.

Look at King Smart/Casual here, dressing down his navy check blazer with a sunshine yellow Paul Smith T-shirt and sunglasses like dress codes were made solely for his personal deconstruction fun.

Brand clash dilemma! Is this fella’s Reebok Workouts and adidas athletic socks combo A) a sartorial sin? B) Acceptable as they’re owned by the same company? Or C) a non-issue as, either way, they look fresh af with retro denim cut-offs and a SLR camera in tow?

Strong layering from Mr T-1000 Mirrored Sunglasses. Like a style cyborg, sent from the future – via a brief stop in the early 90s – to absolutely assassinate low-key, early summer skate dressing.

What’s fresher than an icy-fresh all-white outfit? Topping that sundae best with an 80s issue, hi-vis yellow windbreaker, of course. Like a lollipop man stationed at the corner of Swag Street and Summery Style Avenue.

Sure, we’ll go wild for a carefully curated set of statement styles, or a head-to-toe getup of hard-to-cop hypebeast brands. But, sometimes, all it takes to impress us is a goofy pun and a cool denim jacket back-print. We’re simple fashion folk at heart.
