OUTFIT OF THE DAY
#1,166 FRANK OCEAN'S SARTORIAL STRIKE
By Sam Higgins, 8 May 2017
Frank Ocean here, delivering a lesson in how to slot summer’s key pieces in your getup without garish results.
After taking a four year hiatus between his first and second albums, Frank Ocean has been busy making up for lost time recently, appeasing fans with new track after new track. The same can’t be said for stylish outings though, with the singer staying true to his enigmatic ways in front of the camera, even managing to give paparazzi the slip at the Met Gala last week.
Sometimes though, an outfit is just too good to keep to yourself – and Frank succumbed over the weekend, stepping out in SoHo and allowing us to admire his strong seasonal steez. On the whole, it was a fuss-free ‘fit from Frank. A staple pairing of slim indigo jeans and white Old Skool Vans set a base for experimentation up top, but Frank kept things fairly pared-back and palette-friendly, by throwing on a Lanvin bowling shirt in white, green and black. More of the same please, Frank.
