Despite fierce sartorial competition from Russell Westbrook, Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving made a late claim for NBA’s most stylish status with his well-curated kit of print-clashing pieces on Tuesday.

With a healthy pay rise and another championship ring in his sights, Kyrie Irving’s mind has understandably been solely focused on upholding the Cavaliers’ advantage over Boston Celtics in their seven-game Eastern Conference final series. We have to assume, therefore, that dressing this stylishly is simply something that comes naturally to the point guard.
Below the belt, he started with a strong, Scandi-inspired combo of tan chinos and white trainers that – together – provided a pared-back base for more experimentation up top. He did just that, adding a bold, striped Breton top with a sharp camo coach jacket for a refreshing print clash, before strolling straight into the arena to sink 41 points to stretch his team’s lead to 3-1.
