OUTFIT OF THE DAY
#1,171 STYLE KING CHARLIE HUNNAM
By Sam Higgins, 13 May 2017
Charlie Hunnam here, staking a claim for the seasonal style throne while in London this week.
Although he’s managed it in a very stylish manner, poor Charlie Hunnam’s been pretty much living in his suit recently, country-hopping to promote his new film King Arthur. So, when taking a break from the red-carpet formalities to head into the BBC for a chat, the actor embraced the chance to show off some strong spring steez.
It wasn’t a dramatic switch from C-Hun's usual off-duty style, with his own personal brand of dadcore denim slotting neatly into the tonal 'fit. The slick navy bomber – an inter-seasonal essential – kept to the palette pleasantly and provided extra protection from the gloomy spring weather when layered over a slightly darker lightweight knit. He finished his seasonal getup with some black trainers – their chunky white soles adding a subtle accent to an otherwise all-navy affair.
