SNEAKER SUNDAY
NIKE AIR MAX LD-ZERO
By Nic Hayman, 23 April 2017
This week’s Sneaker Sunday is somewhat of a footwear Frankenstein’s monster. Boasting the perfect combination of vintage upper and modern sole, it’s the Air Max LD-Zero.

First appearing as part of the Swoosh’s Air Max Day celebrations in 2016, the LD-Zero is the brainchild of fragment design head honcho and long-running Nike collaborator Hiroshi Fujiwara. While mining the archives, he became besotted with the Nike Boston (later renamed the LD-1000) and, in one swift juxtaposition, combined it with the full-length Air unit from the Air Max 2014. The result is an era-clashing trainer for the ages.
Due to the different directions going on here, there are options aplenty when it comes to the rest of your outfit. Go down the techy route with cargo pants and an M65 jacket, or keep it classic with dark, tailored trousers, an Oxford shirt and a worker jacket. As always, head over to @ASOS_Man now for a chance to scoop these up on the free.
