We all know about his soft spot for British streetwear but, occasionally, Jonah Hill decides to pare things back and reverts to brilliant basics. That’s exactly what he did while out for some retail therapy, wearing a palette of all black, keeping things neat and letting his basic-boss style do the talking. 

There was no help from logo-laden statement pieces this time – just a fail-safe combo of black tee and slim-fit black trousers to keep the actors looking trim and tidy. His favourite pair of white Saint Laurent sneakers got another outing, breaking up the surrounding dark hues, before Jonah finished his minimal ensemble with a beanie and sunglasses that slotted seamlessly into the monochrome aesthetic.
