1.     Wash raw denim jeans every 3-6 months.

2.     Turn jeans inside-out when washing out to protect the denim.

3.     Hand wash with lukewarm water and a small amount of washing powder in a sink, bath or plastic box.

4.     Carefully press the jeans into the water until they are fully submerged and leave to soak for 45 minutes.

5.     Next, gently scrub and squeeze the denim with your hands to remove any remaining dirt.

6.     Fold jeans in half and squeeze out to remove excess soapy water. Fold and squeeze again.

7.     Empty out the dirty water and use a shower head to rinse your jeans clean.

8.     Repeat folding and squeezing process and then hang your jeans outside inside out, neatly folded, on a washing line to minimise creases and drying marks.
