LFW AW17 MEN'S STREET STYLE

London Fashion Week: Men's brought us lots of 90s style outdoorswear on the catwalk, skater hoodies and drapey outerwear on the streets – and one pretty steezy ASOS party. And what has the womenswear portion of the AW17 trend-fest got to offer? Well, these five dapper showgoers, for a start.

Don't know why this fella's looking so gloomy. He's got some very right-now bleached twists, a 90s-style half-zip sweatshirt in a strong primary colour and an always-cool oversized denim jacket. He's holding a full house in 'things we like at the moment' poker.

The People's Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of Shearling there, checking its Twitter feed. Seven new followers. Another step in the long struggle towards borg utopia.

Some quality low-key fashion-ing from this lad, with only the Commes Des Garcons x Converse kicks marking him out as a paid-up member of the stylish set, rather than a well-put-together regular bloke. Everything else – the mustard beanie, black blouson jacket, black polo shirt and grey straight-leg chinos – you've probably got in your wardrobe right now. Dig them out and recreate this, stat.

Fella's getting so much pap love for his sweet suede bomber, Breton tee, audaciously ripped jeans and burgundy slip-ons, he's had to hide behind a hedge. Give the guy a break! He didn't ask to be born this stylish.

We're not sure about the whole one-sock-up, one-sock-down, uneven thing this dude's got going on, but everything else – from the oversized hoodie in a coppable shade of blue and the layered-up roll-neck for equal parts detail and warmth, to the beanie and skinny chinos doing solid black basics work, and even the never-wrong adidas Superstars – is straight winter-into-spring goals.
