NEW IN: LEVI'S ORANGE TAB
By Sam Higgins, 10 February 2017
When there’s a chill in the air, sepia-toned, nostalgic thoughts have us reminiscing about summers gone by. For this year’s warmer seasons, however, Levi’s Orange Tab is bringing the past back to the present with a fresh drop of vintage-inspired cuts from its iconic, youthful sub-label.
Born in the counterculture of the 60s, Levi’s latest line sees the same classic cuts that symbolised style and youth at the time, but reworked in a range of fresh fits and fabrics for the coming summer. And nothing says summer better than white denim – especially in the form of fitted jackets and slim jeans. The denim merchant's modern tweaks include a choice of bold hues and the fusing of two OG designs – the Western shirt and the work shirt – into a contemporary hybrid.
When they’re not displaying the classic batwing logo, the Orange Tab tees boast retro-inspired striping and sunburst tones for a real throwback feel. Knits arrive with a looser feel that aligns with menswear’s current love for more relaxed fits, while classic pieces like denim trucker jackets and blue jeans remain in their timeless, slim silhouette.
