ASOS SUPPORTS TALENT: ELF KID

Hailing from Deptford, south-east London, Elf Kid’s music has touched upon the reality of life in some of the UK’s most deprived and stigmatised areas. With performances at Glastonbury, Born & Bred and Boiler Room (with grime veteran Stormzy) behind him, his star is firmly on the rise. He's even snagged himself a place on the Guardian's 50 to watch for 2017.

We sent the grime star to Addis Ababa to record new music with Ethiopian producers inspired by the city's growing electronic music scene, mixing traditional sounds with modern beats. With Elf's mind set on breaking the grime mould and pushing the genre's boundaries, we're looking forward to seeing him kick his career to the next level.
