YOUR OUT-OF-OFFICE OUTFIT

The office is half empty and your work rate is at an all-time low – peak holiday season must be upon us. That means it’s finally your turn to hang up your work wardrobe and put on some staycation staples.

You know the drill – you’ve set your email to OOO, factoring in enthusiastic false promises of speedy replies and offering up an unsuspecting colleague’s email address in your absence. You are now officially Out Of Office. Your holiday has arrived and an appropriate outfit is in order, so it’s time to pile on the informal steez and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

Keep things light up top with an airy, off-duty take on the classic work shirt – its subtle pinstripe pattern and oversized fit make it ideal for some summer layering. Underneath, go for a textured, zip-neck polo shirt to work in some nice retro detail, but stick to black and white to keep things relatively muted. Next, add a dose of laid-back Californian cool with a pair of checkerboard shorts and pop on a pair of airy, ultra-comfy Nike Air Max Mores for good measure. Finally, finish things off with a bum bag for your sunnies and a can of something cold. Freedom awaits.
