Hopefully, with a little help from our packing video, you're now a master of squeezing a week-long capsule wardrobe into your hand luggage. Although 10kg doesn’t sound like a lot, you’ll be surprised at just how much you can fit into your holdall. We’ve taken a closer look at exactly what you can pack so that you’ll breeze straight past baggage reclaim and onto the beach.
Packing with a limit is all about choosing each piece tactically, ensuring everything in your bag works seamlessly together. Let’s kick off with the first things you should pack – shoes. Sliders are essential for lazing around the pool but throw some fresh white Reebok Club C 85s in to keep your feet happy during cultural adventures (wear the sturdier, black adidas pair during the journey).
Mid-wash jeans and tan Carhartt chinos work perfectly for your dinner-time duds. However, before the sun sets, zebra-print cargo shorts from Huf cater for all your lower-leg tanning needs.
When it's not 'tops off' time, you’ll need a neat selection of T-shirts, too. Make sure you have an on-trend band tee in your bag, while something pink and patterned can really emphasise your glowing tan. For the evenings, up the formality slightly but keep things summery with a revere-collared shirt.
A hooded sweatshirt and bomber jacket should, weather permitting, be the only pieces of outerwear you need, leaving you with just the essentials – sunnies and underwear – left to pack. Shop the whole lot below before you jet off.
