Here he is, the man himself, stepping out on the streets of New York with his lady, Gigi Hadid, earlier this month. We can only assume the rumours surrounding their relationship status were down to this rare occasion, when the couple emerged having not coordinated their kit. Thankfully for us, the idiosyncrasy in each of their getups allowed us to focus even more closely on Zayn’s impressive fresh ‘fit. We liked it so much, we pieced together our own version so you can pull it off, too.

Nostalgic memories of the 90s – and the streetwear that dominated our wardrobes during that decade – have seen brands reverting to original designs and giving classic pieces a contemporary upgrade. Like Zayn, jump on the trend by throwing on a white sweatshirt with contrasting red and navy arm detailing.

Keep things light downstairs and complement your eye-catching upper half with some ripped, slim-but-not-skinny jeans. Refrain from pin rolling them and, instead, allow your white kicks to cut the blue hue off in its tracks. To really nail the casual/cool look, throw on an on-trend pair of round sunnies and strut off with your mind at ease, knowing you’re just as well-dressed as Bradford’s most stylish man.
