ASOS SS16 Menswear Lookbook

ASOS Menswear Lookbook Spring/Summer 2016
The film is inspired by the idea of a lazy summer day spent killing time with mates, and celebrates four new-season trends. From the utilitarian, khaki blush-hued streetwear of Underground to Bleached Out's clean, Scandi denim styles in calico, indigo and light blue – strong, boxy silhouettes and a soft, neutral colour palette root the lookbook in 2016. At the same time, the 50s-meets-90s grungey beach vibes of Surf Rat and the 80s summer smartwear influence of Riviera ensure the contemporary edge is mashed up with a more old school warm weather aesthetic.

The SS16 Menswear Lookbook stars Connor, Benny, Boyd, Lucas, Darius and Jake – a London-based group of friends working in fashion and music – and was shot on location in Tenerife by the ASOS team this January.
