Outfit of the month #8
By Kasia Hastings, 31 March 2016
If you’re wondering what’s missing from your new spring wardrobe, it’s this – all of the prints, layers and colours, as worn by Jaden Smith at PFW.

In March, Smith went on a casj shopping trip with three of the world’s biggest supermodels and rocked a look that rivalled anything we’ve seen on the catwalk. Leave it to the 17-year-old son of Will Smith to school us in the art of layering, print clashing and general cool spring dressing in one sartorial hit. When he’s not fronting fashion campaigns or running things on the front row as Louis Vuitton’s brand ambassador, Jaden is serving up lit look after lit look – like this one, which was so good we had to recreate it.

We’re just gonna go ahead and say it – Jaden’s got some fresh prints going on here. For your own foray into print clashing, try this block-striped bomber and blue checked shirt. The New Country jacket has the same graphic appeal as Jaden’s but incorporates Yeezy-esque colours to boot. As you’ll be tying your shirt round your waist 90s-style, you’ll need a tee or two up top, so try this white longline T-shirt and black Wood Wood sweatshirt. The key to good layering is knowing when less is more so keep your bottom half nice and simple with a pair of black skinny jeans. Finish off your look with a pair of black Reebok Furylites and you’re ready to follow in the footsteps of the new Fresh Prince.
