The sun is shining and summer is in sight so it’s time to spruce up your style and overhaul your hair. Your winter grooming game may have got you this far but by now you’re sure to be running into some transitional hair trouble. Here are three fresh styles to keep you a cut above this spring.
Three hairstyles for spring

If you haven’t had a haircut in a while then your hair is ideal fodder for a brushed-back style. Not totally brushed up or slicked back, this approach is about creating a look with shape and contrast that still looks relaxed. Long on top and undercut elsewhere it’s the perfect style to segue you into summer. Style with hair gel, pomade and a quick tousle and you’ve got yourself a new classic cut.
Give your hairstyle a much-needed refresh with a taper fade. Whatever you have going on up top – short, long or pompadour – a nice fade is the perfect way to update an existing style. A gradual decrease of hair length around the ears and back adds a technical edge to even the most simple of cuts like this side-parted pompadour. Remember to specify the ferocity of your fade to your barber – ask for a low (one), medium (two) or high (three) fade to avoid an unexpected hair-mare.
From Justin Bieber to Zayn Malik, more and more men are hitting the bleach bottle to brighten up their dos. Last year’s blonde buzz cut is all grown out for SS16 and now comes with dark grungy roots and a Surf Rat attitude. Ask your barber for mid-length on top with an undercut and consult a colourist or watch our how to video to fulfil your own blonde ambition.
