ASOS SS16 key pieces

The sun is shining, you’ve pencilled in your holiday plans and the ASOS Menswear SS16 lookbook has landed. You couldn’t be more ready for spring to arrive and, with it, a new set of sartorial flavours. From Surf Rat to Bleached Out, we’re serving up some solid trends to see you through spring/summer. Take your pick of these key pieces from our SS16 collections.
90s grunge meets 50s cool for our Surf Rat trend. Think retro silhouettes and prints that pop for a surefire way to make sartorial waves this season. Get your Surf Rat summer off to a good start with a souvenir jacket – this black and white sukajan style comes with yellow piping and some strong eagle embroidery. Or refresh your T-shirt game with this black and white knitted tee – its monochrome pattern is perfect for print clashing.
If you’re planning on going big this summer then the longline, oversized cuts of our Underground collection are for you. Street-ready favourites like the MA1 bomber come in an array of new hues and are given extra edge with interesting detail. Try this khaki jacket with strap details, or this reworked military shirt for sunnier days.
Finally, our Bleached Out trend takes denim in a new direction for SS16. Stripped-back colours and Scandi shapes will make your jeans stand out from the skinny-clad crowd. Try a pair of wide-leg jeans in indigo or a light blue cropped straight-leg pair. Add a frayed denim T-shirt to explore the trend’s tonal potential.
