Hairstyle of the week #20

Almost as famous for his pioneering short-sides-with-topknot hair as for his fashion kudos and erstwhile Made In Chelsea appearances, our very own stylist Proudlock has done something radical to his barnet.
Putting himself into the hands of Toni & Guy stylist Kevin Luchmun, he surrendered to the scissors and got his hair did in a cool, ruffled short back and sides-meets-quiff do, keeping his bleached tips.
Going shorter but not too short is a great option for any man wishing to (whisper it) do away with his long-cultivated man bun. It’ll ease you back into having a crop but without the harsh contrast of a shaved head or anything too corporate and grown up. The bleached tips retain that carefree surfer vibe, too.
Proudlock says, ‘Kevin’s been telling me that for my angular face, shorter hair is right for me and texture is key.’ To recreate that texture, make sure you have plenty of wax on standby as you’ll need tons of grip to stop it from flopping.
