Outfit of the day #604

Taking in the sights of the Big Apple’s fashionable SoHo district, the N.E.R.D. star toned down his often outlandish steez and rocked something well suited for a relaxed afternoon amble. Slim-fit denim jacket up top, skinny jeans in the same mid-blue tone down below (this is advanced double-deniming, but easily achievable if your hues look deliberately similar and you keep the whole vibe slim-cut and 70s feeling), and a great retro T-shirt in white.

The finishing touches were the – currently compulsory if you’re cool and famous – black Yeezy Boosts, a little flash of red sock and, proving that #Corbynmania’s crossed the pond, the sort of cap favoured by Labour leader and unlikely style icon Jeremy Corbyn. All that was left for Pharrell to do was plug in, crank up the tunes and get his stroll on.
