Prints among men
By Gavin Jewkes, 29 May 2015
Those of you with your fingers pressed firmly on the sartorial pulse will already have charted the rapid rise of co-ords and their ascent from cult catwalk item to summery city staple. But for those of you less familiar with the pleasures of pulling on two or more printed pieces that match (yes, really), we’re here to bring you up to speed on why co-ords should form the bedrock on which to build your warm-weather wardrobe.

Popularised by behemoth fashion brands Prada and Dries Van Noten at last year’s SS15 shows, coordinating shorts, T-shirts and tailoring were sent down runways in their droves. Not only did they signal an end to sensible summer dressing, but they also outlined menswear’s manifesto for wearing matching pieces head-to-toe – a pastime once confined to the world of womenswear.
Now is the time to make a strong statement with your prints, so try the T-shirt and short sets for a fun casual look. But if all-over print sounds too much to for you, break up your co-ords with items in neutral shades instead – for instance, a white T-shirt layered under a printed suit. Just head to our new T-shirt shop for the perfect style to pile on with your prints.
