New in: adidas Supercolor

Stop, collaborate and listen – not just the well-known mantra of wedge-headed 80s rapper Vanilla Ice, but the ethos of the hip-hop set’s favourite lifestyle brand, too. adidas has gone nuts for collaborations of late, partnering with everyone from the high priest of steez Kanye West to top designers Rick Owens and Raf Simons. But one of its most interesting, on-going collabs is with Pharrell, which has just spawned the blindingly vibrant Supercolor collection.
This project isn’t just limited to revitalising the iconic Superstar sneaker, which has been transformed via a spectrum of 50 different colourways (and has – unsurprisingly – almost sold out). The Happy singer has also inspired a range of track jackets and T-shirts in more rainbow hues than you can shake a selfie stick at, and they're equally as tasty.
The ‘look at me’ nature of these garments should mean they’re difficult to pull off, but if you treat them as the finishing pop of colour to a neutral, monochrome outfit, then they serve as an easy, cool way to inject some much-needed personality into your springtime aesthetic. All that’s left is for you to choose your flavour.
