The copper-bottomed, ocean-going legend that is Johnny ‘The Man in Black’ Cash once said of his on (and off) stage style: “I wore black because I liked it. I still do and wearing it still means something to me. It's still my symbol of rebellion.”

Another side effect, of course, was that Cash looked really cool. Basically – since forever – black has been shorthand for cool. The best movie baddies wear it, Batman wears it, ninjas wear it, Steve Jobs, Simon Cowell… the list is endless.

So get involved in some black and get just that little bit cooler in the process. It’s a bomb-proof choice for winter, whether you’re out for a big night or looking to dial up your workwear.
