How to wear mesh

You say summer, we say knitwear. No, we're not sadists, we just appreciate the value of an extra layer when the sun goes down – specifically a mesh layer.
It's important that you don't confuse this kind of knit with your winter woollies. The key to sourcing a jumper that's summer-appropriate is ensuring it's cool and breathable. Unlike that chunky cable knit you pull on towards Christmas, these clever mesh jumpers fit both criteria and are constructed in a way that allows for plenty of ventilation.
The only thing left to do now is to decide what you wear underneath. We'd advise a crew-neck tee or Oxford shirt, but of course you could embrace the sheerness and show a hint of nip, just like the guy below…
