There are a few rites of passage every musical prodigy has to endure before he can call himself a bone fide rock star. The first: score a critically acclaimed number one album, naturally. The second: find a leather jacket that makes you look dangerous, yet accessibly handsome.

Jake Bugg, who turns 20 today, has (annoyingly) achieved both.

But for those of us whose singing career is confined to the shower, looking the part is still hugely achievable. All it takes is a classic leather jacket, preferably a snug fitting biker (like Bugg's), that's supple and worn with a vague air of aloofness.
