NEW BRAND DROP: ZYA
By Rachel Ho, 5 April 2019
When it comes to parties and festivals, is there such a thing as too much? If you’re shaking your head, then ZYA is definitely your vibe. Created by friends Mel and Alyse, this homegrown Aussie brand is all about turning up, standing out and expressing yourself – think mesh, ruching and ultra-fem grunge. Let’s investigate its latest drop at ASOS…
This pastel co-ord = putting in minimal effort and looking pure fashion all day. What you add into the equation depends on what your plans are. Styled here with a belt, white sneakers and a chilled outlook, this outfit totally works for festivals and daytime events. RSVPd to something fancier? Switch out the shorts for wide-leg trousers and just add heels.
Ever wish your fave bralet had some boho sleeves? If we’re honest, we can’t say we had either, but now that we’ve seen it, we’re into it. These sheer balloon sleeves are a statement move – dress down with jeans (like so), or team with a peasant skirt for a full-on 00s throwback. Don’t forget a pretty layered necklace for the finishing touch.
Take on the midi skirt and neon trend all at once. The fabric (soft jersey – hello, comfort) plus the versatile length of this number make a serious case for being your go-to autumn skirt, with the drawstring waist adding a sporty edge to the look. Tuck in a monochrome tee and finish with chunky kicks – unbelievable win.
