5 OF THE BEST NEW-SEASON DRESSES
By Nelly Gergi, 7 February 2019
Summer isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so you'll be super pleased to know we've got some cute new dresses to enjoy it in. To get you started, we've picked five of our favourites ATM, and – spoiler alert – there’s something for every mood.

Two thousand neonteen
ICYMI, 2019 is the year of fluorescent colours. And if you were worried, no, there’s no such thing as too much neon. This off-the-shoulder broderie dress is where futuristic highlighter shades meet the feminine milkmaid trend. Wear it with chunky trainers (yes, still going strong) and mini shades and you’re good to go.

Slip into something comfy
You can’t really go wrong with a slip dress now, can you? And it's not just a hot-day hero either, cos you can easily team with a jumper for a colder evening (if you do actually get one). This blue satin story is one of those day-to-night dreams, so whether you're feeling heels or sneakers, it’s here for you.

Neutral mode
The new neutrals are all about natural fabrics and earthy tones. Think clay pots, exotic food markets and exposed brick. We're loving this burnt orange beauty and its cute 70s-inspired cut-out detail. Style it with nude strappy sandals for a sophisticated look, or pull out your kicks for that contrast we all know and love.

It’s all in the deets
Whether you’re a minimalist or a maximalist, this season is all about the details. Think of buttons, like the ones on this check dress, as the cherries on top of the cake. From wooden to resin, these accents are here more for the statement factor rather than the functionality – but, luckily, they double as both.

Totally tropical
This one works for any occasion really – whether it’s a day out in the city or drinks after dark. Tropical floral is a trend you’ll be seeing a lot of very soon, so you might wanna jump on it ASAP. This one’s got everything you need: a sweetheart-neckline, a flamenco-style fishtail hem and a shade that looks great with a tan (and sun protection, always).
