Not to shock you, but we're halfway through 2018 (we know, we know...). So, it seems about time we take stock of things, starting with our favourite street-style looks of the year so far. And here you have it, our round-up of the 10 most stealable looks we've spotted...

Straw poll

The year the beach bag stopped being just for the beach? 2018. All things wicker, rattan and woven from straw are top of the accessories agenda this year and we love how this Aussie street styler has combined it with the 00s revival of jeans and a fancy top. Swoon.

Mellow yellow

ASOS Insider Ebony's 'fit has got 'dream festival look' written all over it. Yellow Clueless-style tartan trousers, a tied-up band tee and 90s skate shoes – you're ready to rock'n'roll.

TFW you and your BFF coordinate in matching fairy floss pinks... And now you can give it a sunny update with lookalike lilac shades for you and your bestie. Twinning and winning.

Double trouble

This year's co-ord is all about the double-denim combo and never has the Canadian tuxedo looked more enticing than in this street-styler's logo-tastic incarnation. Look for oversized denim jackets and straight-leg jeans, then cap it off with a crisp white tee.

Float on

The saviour to day-drink dates everywhere, the easy-breezy floaty dress has been a street-style staple this year. With long sleeves and calf-skimming hemlines, it's time to embrace loose cuts and light fabrics. Balance out the frills with chunky combat boots and super-skinny 90s frames à la this Aussie blogger.

Orange is the new black

If you haven't gotten on board already, orange has been huge in 2018. It's not a colour to do by halves, so take your inspiration from this London street styler, who nails the look with an ultra-zingy boiler suit anchored by black add-ons. Frameless orange shades optional (but strongly recommended).

Suit yourself

Suits have been big news recently and this street styler gives a masterclass in how to make it wearable. A dreamy hybrid of Scandi and safari influences (Scafari? Hmm, maybe not), follow her lead with scuffed-up sneakers and just the right amount of undone buttons. A+.

Check, mate

Double checks? Tick. Dad sneakers? Tick. Enough said – we’re loving this look for the winter months ahead.

Opposites attract

Ooh, and this... Because sometimes the oddest couples make the perfect match. Puffer jacket + pleated skirt = cold-weather perfection. Who knew?

Utility thrills

Call it the Lara Croft effect, but we can't get enough of this utility look. Maybe it's the handy pockets, the maxi-tread Timberlands or the cross-body bum bag, but we're suddenly in the mood for some adventuring.
