NEW DROP: CHEAP MONDAY
By Maybelle Morgan, 13 June 2018
Good denim is hard to come by. But thankfully, Swedish clothing label Cheap Monday has been serving up strong outfit additions since its inception in 2004. The brand originally started out in a secondhand store in Stockholm, and has since expanded their core denim line to include bold, statement staples, all marked with their distinctive skull logo. Check out their latest drop here…
Clueless, anyone? Yep, we’re throwing back to the 90s with this Cher-inspired mini shirt dress in all-over yellow tartan, but there’s no doubt that the central monochrome logo and contrast collar add a distinctly grungy feel. To balance out all the bold, pair it up with some white minimal sneaks and a bum bag slung across the body for winter festival vibes.
Come rain or shine, we’ll never tire of popper pants, and Cheap Monday’s 2018 answer to your fave new bottoms are these statement red wide-leg trousers with side-button detailing. In other news, that 80s thing still has currency across your wardrobe. Proof? Bold big-lettered slogan tees, to be worn tucked into your high-waisted popper pants. And for an update on your jersey staples: a printed oversized hoodie (bonus points to the sleeve detailing) in the softest of baby pinks.
