NEW DROP: WRANGLER
By Maybelle Morgan, 9 April 2018
Ever since its first pair of jeans were made in 1947 (a rodeo cowboy essential, FYI), Wrangler has made a name for itself as an iconic American powerhouse of durable and stylish denim staples. Originally celebrated for its classic true-blue pieces, for 2018, the brand has revamped some of its silhouettes for an eclectic 80s + 90s sporty takeover.

Right now, it’s all about modern twists on throwback shapes. Cuffed mom jeans in mid-washed denim make for a solid outfit base, and then it’s a case of using loud colour-blocking to take that 90s festival feel up a notch. A striped slogan windbreaker gets layered over a patterned jersey sweatshirt for optimum line clash.

For more warm-weather vibes, we venture back into the 80s for some truly nostalgic track-inspired pieces. Your standard skate raglan tee gets swapped out for a brighter update with blue and yellow colour-blocking at the centre. For bottoms? Retro-style running shorts, complete with a contrast trim, tie waist and sports tipping.
