6 MINDFUL BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
By Elizabeth Odey, 24 January 2018
All white, all right
Have you checked the ingredients on many teeth-whitening products? Yeah, don’t. This Sister & Co all-natural coconut oil rinse does 100% of the job, with 0% of the chemicals. But swirling oil between your teeth does take some getting used to...
Clean conscience
Everybody loves bath time. And now you can lie back and relax even more, secure in the knowledge that BOD’s products aren't tested on animals and the ingredients are vegan. Plus, you get to indulge in a little skin tightening and toning while you’re at it. Result!

Face feast
Avocado, macadamia oil, jojoba… nope, it's not the latest super smoothie, these are just some of the all-natural, all-Australian ingredients used in the Nude By Nature beauty range. And what better product than their illuminating powder to give you that sunkissed Aussie glow?
Conceal, reveal
3ina products are cruelty-free, and they clearly mark the (many, many) products in their range which qualify as vegan (insert clapping hands emoji). When it comes to my own make-up kit, it's all about the liquid concealer. I use the lightest shade to cover dark under-eye circles, then blend-blend-blend out with the 3 In 1 Foundation.
Vegan velvet
As if we needed another reason to love Lime Crime lippies, every single product is 100% vegan and 100% cruelty-free. The colour to try? Pink Velvet from the Velvetines collection is my new colour crush. A bright pink with a blue base – I challenge you to find a skintone this shade won’t suit.
Face the base
We can’t really have a mindful beauty breakdown without mentioning The Ordinary now, can we? Their list of no-no chemicals is extensive, many products are vegan and they go to great lengths to make their products and processes as transparent as possible. Respect. My personal favourite is the silicone primer. Soft, smooth and never greasy – way too easy.
