For 2017, the queens that rule the beauty world have decreed that bright and bold colours are where it's at. Case in point? Vivid, tangerine eyes. Lucky for us, designer Emilio De La Morena and ASOS Insider Hannah have taken on the orange trend in a big way and we're taking notes.
ORANGE EYES ARE TRENDING FOR SPRING
By Joanna Kyte, 11 October 2017
Colour blocking was the name of the game for Spanish designer Emilio De La Morena’s recent show. Starting with a base of white eyeliner, eyes were layered with clashing tones of turquoise and orange, and paired with barely there lipgloss. The word strong doesn’t do this look justice.
Bringing the look from Fashion Week to working week, it’s ASOS Hannah. To begin, make like the catwalk and keep the rest of your make-up minimal. Then, up your seasonal steeziness with a high-shine peach shadow and a major cat-flick of jaffa liner. Zesty.
Try it out
You can trust us when we say that throwing out the beauty rulebook pays off. Take this deep orange, chubby lip crayon from 3INA to your eyelids instead and mark out a fierce coloured line to re-create the look.
