Go graphic
Don't fancy florals but hellbent on avoiding all-over colour? Wrap your besties in a gorgeous graphic print for a more modern riff on the bridesmaid dress. Bonus fact: the super-strong prints will make for extra fabulous photos.

Make it mini
Bridesmaid myth: dresses must be floor-length, ankle-length, tea-length, midi or on the knee. Wrong! If your crew is cool with getting their pins out, don't hesitate to move into mini-mode and free the knee. For summer weddings, your breezy bridesbabes will thank you.

Black magic
Back in the day, black was considered a wedding fashion faux pas but those days are no more. Black is flattering AF, looks great on every skin tone, shape and size - and you'll never be hard-pressed to find an amazing option in the shade (whether your talking dresses or jumpsuits). Bridesmaids can wear black - till death do us part.

Primary > pastels
Pretty pastels are always a wedding win, but a primary colour will really make your bridal party pop. Think sun-warm canary yellows, brilliant bright blues and, of course, the most celebrated colour of the season: red.

There is no rule book stating that bridesmaids must wear a dress. Get them in jumpsuits, playsuits, pants or pinafores - the choice is yours. Or you can mix it up and choose a seriously statement-making top which your squad can pair with their favourite jeans, trousers or skirt. Just add accessories.
