WHAT IS TRENDING
Key trends from day 3 of MBFWA
By Lucy Glen, 16 May 2017
The streets of Sydney were alive today with key trends that ranged from the gloriously girly to seriously shirty. Everywhere we looked we found frills, ruffles and delicate fabrics. But, to balance this femininity, we noticed doses of simplicity in the form of a classic wardrobe staple: the white shirt. Our top selection below...
Mimi knows how to cover-off all the trend bases with this look. From the oversized sleeves, to ruffled, mini-dress (in gingham for added prairie points) - we salut you.
Millie Sykes, stylist, works the golfing angle in this red and pink combo. We just cannot get enough of the dapper blazer and shirt duo.
Beauty Editor, Eleanor Pendleton, is all about the sleeve drama and monochrome on day 3. The matching circular belt ring and bag straps are details we also dig.
Publicist, Sarah Pull, layers her pretty, scalloped-edged top and shorts co-ord (by Alice McCall) with simple white shirt for a street style win.
Blogger, Violet Atkinson, knows when oversized sleeves meet a slip dress that it's going to be a great day. By finishing the look with chill chucks means those street style feet stay fresh.
