LONG-SLEEVED TOPS AS SEEN ON ASOS INSIDER JONO
By Justine Fedorowycz, 6 May 2019
To sleeve or not to sleeve? It’s the classic seasonal dilemma. If ASOS Insider Jono’s social feed is anything to go by, though, the answer seems pretty clear. And while we’re in no way shading the humble short-sleeved T-shirt, there’s no denying that long sleeves have more to offer (material- and forearm snugness-wise, anyway). Serving the sartorial receipts to back it up, here’s ASOS Jono making a strong case for three long-sleeved looks.

There’s definitely a theme here. Offsetting his scribbled COLLUSION jumper against a graffitied backdrop, ASOS Jono gives us a lesson in big-city dressing. He keeps the rest of his look simple by throwing on a pair of washed green jeans, a flight bag and some minimal jewellery, and finishes with dark-tinted sunglasses for those ‘no paparazzi’ vibes.

Proof that the T-shirt and its long-sleeved counterpart are able to co-exist, ASOS Jono’s skate-meets-street getup is a look we can get on board with. Adding another dimension to his Crooked Tongues tee, he opts for a long-sleeved version underneath to maximise its autumnal orange hue. That matching baseball cap? Commendable.

Dressed to chill, ASOS Jono dips back into the COLLUSION archives to bring us this acid-green jumper. Suitable for the skate park but also versatile enough for your day-to-day thing, this style is an easy way to tap into the neon trend without having to leave your sartorial comfort zone. Team with denim shorts, sneakers and matching hi-res socks.
