JANUARY'S BEST NEW DROPS
By Steven Potter, 28 January 2019
Brace yourself, we’ve got three red-hot drops on the way from Polo Ralph Lauren, The North Face and streetwear brand Parlez. Expect a combo of bright hues and standout prints with seriously steezy results.

Polo Ralph Lauren
You can’t deny Polo Ralph Lauren’s status in the streetwear pantheon. Snow Beach, Sailing, CP-93 – cop-worthy picks are second nature to the US heritage brand. We’re heading back in time once more with the newest PRL line – The Great Outdoors, another result of a fruitful rummage in the archives. The main feature is the iconic Sportsmen Respect Wildlife logo, stamped across coloured tees and camo sweatshirts.

The North Face
Outdoor enthusiasts The North Face have, as you might expect, gone all outdoorsy for their latest drop of colourful logo tees. Also, for ultimate bragging rights, each piece is exclusive to ASOS, too. Stepping away from the minimal and iconic logo so readily adopted by streetwear aficionados, this newest crop makes use of bolder and more stylised branding set against bright colour backdrops. Very 90s indeed. The graphic inspiration came from TNF’s own archives and, with retro logos tying in neatly with all the throwback trends currently doing the rounds, these pieces are hot-to-cop.

Parlez
Pastel shades are basically summer in colour form, but there certainly isn’t anything wrong with repping these through autumn/winter too. Bristol-based streetwear label Parlez has just dropped a crop of colourful tees to see you through the year in style. The brand first burst onto the scene in 2012 and quickly gained mass appeal for its steezy cuts and minimalist approach to branding. Talking of which, this fresh selection features embroidered logos, each with a slightly different vibe. Think of this release as a more understated approach to livin’ that logo lifestyle.
